Észt-norvég filmklub a Szimpla Téli Kertmoziban (Kazinczy u. 14).

  Hírtelen nagyon hosszuak lettek a napok, így megváltoztattuk a filmklub kezdést.


Minden filmet angol felirattal vetítünk.

A belépés minden vetítésünre továbbra is ingyenes.

Hetente váltva vetítünk majd észt, illetve norvég filmeket;

Uno is a story from inner-city Oslo about David, a twentyfive-year-old with few prospects for the future. His days are spent hanging around with petty criminals at an inner-city gym. Still, it's better than home: His father is terminally ill, his brother is mentally handicapped, and he's unable to connect with his mother.But then, as his father is on his deathbed, the gym is raided by the police. David chooses to betray his friends in the hope of reaching his father for a last farewell. But it's too late. With his father dead and his mother grief-stricken, he's also forced to take responsibility for his brother on top of fighting off his former underworld friends. The crisis makes David realize what's truly important in his life: his family. He starts assuming responsibility for both his past and his future. By losing everything, David is given a chance to start over from scratch and rebuild his life.

Experimental horror, Norway 2003, 84 min

The crew of the TV show "Real TV" with controlling boss Gunnar on the front line
will soon begin production of a reality show for which participants are selected
to survive in the wilderness. Gunnar has gathered a production team of four
people: The friends Lasse and Per, the Swedish girl Elin and a new girl Sara.
To test his new employees, Gunnar takes them to a log cabin where he used to
spend summers as a kid. The cabin is located far away from civilisation, hidden
in the dark, mysterious woods. The team has to make it through a weekend,
finding food that nature has to offer, and neither cellular phones nor
cigarettes are allowed. When Lasse and Per find a dead body in a lake near the
cottage, the group is being tested. Gunnar is suggesting that they should
continue the weekend without mentioning anything to Sara and Elin about what
they found. But soon the team experiences some escalating incidents which lead

to paranoia, accusations and mistrust. (www.imdb.com)

legalabb egy ember eljön vele...
The journalists write, the politicians tremble, the Estonians curse, and the
Russians despise and the secret service watches. All of this because of Esja
Sur, a 68 years old Russian citizen living in Estonia, spending her retirement
on organising protests, meetings and public demonstrations.
The story, unfolding in present day Estonia, presents the life and destiny of a
woman ever throwing herself into battle against someone or something. The hero
of the film is surrounded by colourful characters, absurd situation comedy and

a unique atmosphere of Eastern Viru county.

Mors Elling (NO)

It's based on the same novel as
the "Elling" that we saw two weeks ago, yet it is a completely different film,
dealing with an earlier period in Elling's life: when his mom was still alive.
I think everyone who saw the "Elling" would find it quite interesting to
compare the two totally different interpretations of the same novel. For those
who didn't see the previous version, it'd probably look like a good film on its
own as well.

40-year-old Elling--a sensitive, would-be poet, is sent to live in a state institution when his mother--who has sheltered him his entire life, dies. There he meets Kjell Bjarne, a gentle giant and female-obsessed virgin, also in his 40s. After two years, the men are released and provided with a state-funded apartment with the hope they will be able to live on their own. Initially, the simple act of going around the corner for groceries is a challenge, but through a friendship born of desperate dependence, the skittish Elling and the boisterous Kjell discover they cannot only survive on the outside, they can thrive. As their courage grows, the two find oddball ways to cope with society, striking up the most peculiar friendships in the most unlikely places...

Finally he ends up in a situation, which causes the police to start following him. As he’s followed by the police and his own grazy visions, he wanders about in the city, trying to find a way back to normal. That journey makes him feel stronger and more confident despite it’s conflict with law.

The hero of the film, based on the story by Vladimir Nabokov, calls out his wife’s lover to duel. The challenge is accepted and suddenly everything takes a very serious turn – neither of the participants can withdraw without losing one’s honor and dignity. It is not easy to fight a duel these days. You try to follow all the requirements for buying a gun, learn to shoot, find a place for the duel and a doctor – all this in one week. The hero preparing for the duel, his fears and inconstancy are the plot of this film that contrary to all expectations ends almost happily.

Karl killed his ex-wife and threw her newborn coloured child into the sea when he discovered that she obviusly had been unfaithfull. Now Karl is beeing haunted by her ghost and is developing a serious drinking problem. Anna is looking for the love of her life, but there aren't many bachelors around - until they discovers another small family on the other side of the mountain. They meet a semi-alcoholized widow on Karl's age, her son Peder, and her black adopted son, Kjell, that arrived from the sea on a piece of wood.
